After Reading About Major Taylor, I Visited His Statue

I finally made it to the Worcester, MA library, where I got to see the memorial to Major Taylor, a  professional African-American bicyclist who endured so much racism yet accomplished so much in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The book I read (and loved) is: "Major Taylor: The Inspiring Story of a Black Cyclist and the Men Who Helped Him Achieve Worldwide Fame" (Conrad & Terry Kerber).

Here's a link to the incredible book: https://www.amazon.com/Major-Taylor-Inspiring-Cyclist-Worldwide-ebook/dp/B00J75IR5O
